Different Silhouette Style

While I was working on my silhouette's, I experimented with another way of drawing them, these are how they turned out once I was finished with them.

instead of adding highlights and value over the top, I went and coloured the shape in black and using the eraser tool removed bits off here and there to get the shape of the kimono.

These poses came from the book ' Hokusai and his age'.

I then went on to develop those a couple of those silhouette's to see what they look like, and this is what i got after 20 mins of iterating them.
